Arizona's first Original Gino's East is approaching its opening, and real estate firm SimonCRE is looking to sell the property on which the Chicago pizzeria sits.

Joseph Compagno and Max Bippus with CBRE’s Phoenix office are listing the property at 3626 E. Indian School Road in the Arcadia area of Phoenix for approximately $4.2 million.“We are thrilled to be part of this project. We love breathing new life into infill locations, and I’m especially excited to bring a part of my hometown to the Valley of the Sun,” said Joshua Simon in a statement. “This dense, urban location will be a perfect fit for Gino’s East, and a welcome site for many Chicagoans, like myself, who have migrated to this warmer weather.”

The pizzeria will inhabit the land formerly occupied by the shuttered Hazelwood's Sports Grill in a new, 4,400-square-foot space with an outdoor patio, and is slated to open in January 2017.

The Original Gino's East is joining several Chicagoland eateries that have opened or will be opening in the Valley, including Lou Malnati's, Giordano's, Portillos and Lao Sze Chuan.
