Northwest Valley residents are getting a slew of their shopping wishes granted.
Hobby Lobby, Total Wine & More and T.J. Maxx & HomeGoods are three of
Surprise residents' 10 most wanted retailers that will open at the Village at Prasada,
a 700,000 square foot outdoor shopping mall at Loop 303 and Waddell Road.
None of the top 10 restaurants that 5,700 residents voted for as part of Surprise's
annual retail survey has plans to locate in the suburb yet, according to city
documents.
The northwest Valley suburb is approaching nearly 150,000 residents as new
houses and retailers continue to open.
Shops at the Village at Prasada are expected to open this fall, according to developer
SimonCRE.
The Village at Prasada will include high-end dining and local restaurants —
something respondents to the city's annual survey have long said they wanted.
