A Target store will anchor a new retail shopping center to be built in Farmington, serving as the national developer’s first large project in Missouri.
The new open‑air retail center is planned on more than 36 acres along Highway 67 in Farmington, according to St. Francois County records.
SimonCRE, a Scottsdale, Arizona‑based development and acquisition firm, said it has closed on land and financing for the project. The firm purchased 26.58 acres and secured a construction loan to build Farmington Crossings, a 316,000‑square‑foot retail development at the intersection of Highway 67 and Woodlawn Drive.
